Hobo

So I have wanted a HOBO wallet for awhile now but have never been able to quite justify it. Well 4 years of busting my butt in school was enough justification for me and my parents! Thanks Mom and Dad! So I finally have the wallet and I LOVE it!!!! It really is amazing. If you are reading this going "What the crap is a HOBO? Get in the car and go to Nordstrom! I got the cute wasabi green one. I seriously get so excited every time I buy something just because I get to use my cute wallet!!!

More California!

Here are some more pictures! Mallori and I at in n out and me getting my trashy henna tattoo that is still on my foot after 2 weeks and also the dodgers game we went to that was sooooo fun!!!

California

After Graduation Liz, Mallori and I drove to California. We drove straight to Megan's house in Westlake Village and we were soooooooooooo tired, that is a LOOOOOOOOOONG drive!! The next day we went shopping at H&M, I just love that store! Then we went to the beach and 3rd street in Santa Monica. The next two days we went to Disneyland and California adventure. Liz had never been and it was so fun to see her reaction. I told her that Disneyland doesn't disappoint and in the end she agreed!!! On the way home we stopped in Vegas and stayed at the hooters hotel, suprisingly nice and clean! It was a great graduation trip!!!

Graduation!!!

I know it has been forever since I blogged. One exciting thing that happened was I Graduated!!!! It was a great day and I am so glad that I went to the ceremony, I wasn't going to but Marty talked me into it. Thanks Marty!

I can't believe I actually finished. It has been a very had adjustment for me. I have gone to school since the summer after I graduated High School and I kind of don't know what to do with myself.

I am doing a summer internship that i started last week in bountiful. It is a home care company and I assist their HR manager. So far it has been pretty boring and the 8-5 thing is very hard to adjust to. You never realize what freedom you have when your in school. Yes you have homework but you can do that when you want and you usually only have classes a few hours a day. I do like being out of school but basically I'm just going to say that I'm adjusting right now because I'm in unknown territory.

Tag your It!

Rules

A. Post the rules
B. Answer all the questions about yourself
C. After you are done posting, tag 5 people

1. What were you doing 10 years ago? 10 years ago I was 12 and I guess that means I was in 6th grade in Mrs Sackaguchi (I still can’t spell it). And because it was 10 years a go I have no idea anything I liked or did. But I probably had a crush on some dumb boy, which I was too afraid to talk too!

2. Five things on your to do list today-

  1. Start my LAST paper of the semester
  2. Clean the bathroom at my apartment
  3. Edit my group paper due tomorrow
  4. Go to the Grocery Store
  5. Maybe take a nap!

I don’t usually take naps but today is the calm before the storm and only one of the two days I don’t work this week

3. Snacks I enjoy- Ice Cream, Cheesecake, Chips and dip, candy (I think it would have been easier to just say sugarJ)

4. What would I do if suddenly I were a billionaire? First I would quit my job at The Home Depot, and then I would move to Europe, probably Italy or Salzburg. Find an amazing man and live happily ever after.

5. 3 bad habits- Biting my fingernails, I’m a loud breather when I sleep, (Jessica can attest to this), being able to go an entire day without eating anything with nutritional value.

6. 5 places I've lived- Utah, New York, Utah, Idaho, and Utah

7. 5 jobs I've had- Western Watts!, Bath and Body Works, Rexburg Opinion Center, Macys (department store), and The Home Depot!!

8. 5 things people don't know about me-

1. I’m graduating next Friday (sort of)

2. This summer I’m going to Disneyland and Phoenix

3. I love Kenny Chesney. (Like slightly obsessed kind of love J)

4. I have frequent snack attacks...thank you sonic!

5. I’m totally AWESOME!

I tag Liz, Lindsay, Ashleigh, Megan Johnson, and Jessica (I know you don’t want to but you will b/c you love me),

Identity Theft Is Not A Joke Jim!

So yesterday while I was at work I kept getting these strange phone calls from strange numbers. None of them left messages and I had like 18 of them. I finally answered one and they wanted to follow up on a lead they had received about credit repair. I asked them what information they had on me and it was my full name, phone number, address at my old apartment in Rexburg, and this random email address. But they had not charged a card, they had only received the lead. By this time I was really suspicious but didn't really have anything to go on.

So then today I got a few more phone calls about verifying information I requested about a work at home package. Well, I don't want to work at home and certainly wouldn't pay $9.95 to learn about it. So then I called my bank and I had 20 pending charges. Only 2 of which were over $10.00. So basically they got my number and decided to charge it up a dollar at a time. Who ever did this wasn't the brightest crayon in the box because if they had given another phone number, not mine, I wouldn't have figured this out for several days! So I guess I should be thankful that they are stupid!

I Beat My Goliath!

So before the semester started I was reading the syllabus to my interpersonal communication class. My anxiety started when I realized that for this class I would be required to read a scholarly article (between 25-35 pages) for every class period and then take a quiz on it in class. That was pretty bad. But then I kept reading and saw that there was a 15 to 20 page research paper due as well, that is when my anxiety really became noticeable and I have had that feeling ever since. I was just thinking how on earth i was going to have 20 pages of writing come out of me in the next 3 months.

Well I am happy to report that I DID IT!!! Today was the day it was due. It is amazing how much stress it relieved just to turn it in. And now I can enjoy the rest of the semester!! !Wahoo!!
