So my friend Mallori talked me into going to St. George at the last minute for spring break. I wasn't going to go because I have a huge research paper to write and tons of other assignments to do. Apparently my teachers didn't get the memo that it was spring break and that you shouldn't have things due the day after. And then I was told by several people that I was totally lame to spend my break in the library. So I decided to go for a few days. It was great! We didn't really do anything and thats what was fun. It was warmer then Salt Lake which made it worth it to me. I even got to wear my capris and flip-flops! Thanks Mallori for talking me into going!!!

My 22nd Birthday!

So yesterday was my birthday and I can't believe I'm 22. I feel like I am 18 and I graduated yesterday from high school. Let me just say that I am glad that both of those are NOT true, but nonetheless that's how I feel.
I had such a great few days. On Sunday Mama Jan made dinner and my very favorite cake, Hummingbird Cake. I was very impressed I requested it at the last minute and she came through, thanks Jess for helping her. It was AMAZING!!!
Then yesterday I spent the day at school, not that great and then at night we went to get Sushi, my favorite! And that was great!!
Thanks to everyone who made it such a fantastic day!!

Bon Voyage Liz!
So my one and only roommate Liz went to Vietnam today to do a humanitarian mission. She will be gone for 3 weeks! So basically I am going to be bored out of my mind until she gets back. Last night we had a little Bon Voyage party for her. It was a lot of fun! I know she is going to have a great once in a lifetime experience. So Bon Voyage Liz, I will miss you!

Oregon

So I just got back from visiting Ashleigh in Oregon. We had so much fun! We went to downtown Portland the first day and went to Powell Books. It is this bookstore that is the size of an entire city block and has all these different rooms that are coded by different colors according to the genre. Its really cool.
The next day we went shopping and got pedicures and then went to The Cheesecake Factory with Ashleigh's great friends! It was just so fun to get away and relax.
The picture of the toilet handle can only be explained by saying I knew Oregon was a "Go Green" state but I didn't expect that in the stall at the bathroom. It was kind of like "Welcome to Oregon". The best part is that I'm sure the other people in the bathroom were like "Did a flash go off?" But I had to take a picture, I had never seen anything like it :)
Thanks Ash for such a fun time!

Colbie Caillat

So last night was FINALLY the Colbie Caillat concert. She was supposed to come in December but canceled the day before. So last night was finally the night! It was really fun! It was In The Venue which meant we had to stand for like 4 hours but it was worth it. And one of those hours was spent out in the 30 degree weather, that was not fun. But once we were inside, it was a blast.
Her opening act was Trevor Hall. I actually like him better then Colbie. His music is like "reggae-inflected acoustic rock", really cool. I'm not smart enough to add music to my blog so you will have to look him up.
But the whole night was a blast followed by dinner at The Dodo, AMAZING!!!

Last Night...
Last night my friends and I went to see these performers at Kingsbury Hall. They were called The Peking Acrobats. And all I can say it sensational. I have never been so entertained for 2 hours. As you can see from the pictures they do some pretty amazing things. At times I would get so nervous that I would be holding my breath and not even realize it. And I know from trying to explain it to people today that there is no way for you to know just how cool it was without you being there. But take my word for it. They were FANTASTIC!!!
