Apartment

This post has been a long time coming as are many posts! I am so far behind. Anyway, I moved Jan 1st. As you may remember I used to live alone. I liked it most of them time but my mom hated it all of the time. I moved into this charming little house with 5 girls from my ward. The house is an old victorian. It is beautiful. Sometimes I can't believe I live in such a cool house!

I live on the 3rd floor which has been turned into its own apartment. I have my own kitchen, bathroom, and entrance. It really is the best of both worlds. My apartment reminds me of a flat from England. It has such a great feel to it and I really love it!

Does anyone know my computer won't let me upload pictures? I have things to blog about and pictures to post but I can't get it to work. Everything loads great until I hit done and go to my blog and then there are just crazy letters and symbols instead pictures. PLEASE HELP!

The New Year!

I didn't make a resolution to be a better blogger.... I knew it wouldn't happen!

But I did make a resolution to exercise for 45 min a day 6 days a week. Its the 27th and so far so good, minus 2.
I also gave up sweets... I LOVE sugar. Me and Buddy the Elf are 2 peas, 1 pod. But I did it... kind of. Maybe I didn't eliminate it but I have totally cut back! Like to the point of covering my mouth and nose in the presence of doughnuts (that was a rough day)!

I am in it for 12 weeks. We will see. So far its slow and painful. After 12 weeks I get to quit and sit on the couch like a bum everyday after work! Sounds exciting but I am sure it will work cause i've already lost 5 lbs so that day will never come!

Since I gave up all things I love I have improvised with a few things that help the cravings. I eat fat free strawberry cream cheese with graham crackers and carrots with peanut butter. It has really gotten me through some tough days!

I am happy to report I survived my first Graduate Class! It was really hard and overwhelming especially when I missed 2 weeks due to surgery! But I came out alive and with an A-! Maybe I can go to Grad School after all!?!?!?

Christmas Time

Since I have my own place this year I decided I needed a Christmas tree! Its 's nothing like my mom's tree but I love it!

These are my next attempt. My cute friend Jennie brought them to work and they were Fantastic! No wonder people gain so much weight during the holidays! Yummy!
