Utah

I was in Utah for 5 weeks! It was really fun to go back and see everyone. Unfortunately I only have a few pictures from my trip to Utah. No Christmas, New Years, or pictures of my family visiting. Let's just say I am the worst with my camera and I wish I could have someone follow me around with a camera and take pictures of my life because that would be easier...

I did go skiing twice when I was there. It was so fun and it was the only thing that actually made me miss winter in Utah

I also went to a Jazz game with Troy. The game was awful and we got killed but Jazz games are always fun

The last week I was there I watched Graham for Jess and Marty. It was a lot of fun and a lot of work.

I miss my little Buddy!

Utah was fun but I am glad to be back in School and sunny California where its like 80 degrees!

Sleepover and Disneyland

BLOG CATCH-UP! SCROLL DOWN FOR ADDITIONAL POSTS!

Ever since I moved to LA Meg's kids have been dying to see my apartment but more importantly SLEEPOVER. Well, their wish came true the day before I flew home. I picked them up and we drove to Culver City. They were HILARIOUS in the car. I wish I had taped the conversation. We picked up In n Out for dinner and then went to my apartment. As I put the key in the door Nick EXCLAIMED, "I can't believe I finally get to see it!" It was pretty dang cute. Then, while we ate dinner they each kept saying Thank you for letting them come. They are pretty great kids. We watched movies and ate snacks and I think it was everything they hoped it would be.

Then....

The next day we went to DISNEYLAND! It was such a great day! I am so glad I have an annual pass and get to go a lot. Rosey Happened to be going that day as well, so it was so fun to be with her and her cute friend Denise, they are pretty much the greatest and Disneyland was so fesive decorated for Christmas!

(I am really glad Rose had her camera to capture some of the pics, I am the worst at that)

Christmas Time in LA

It was really hard for me to get into the Christmas Spirit in LA. It is hard when the sun is shining and its warm. Cry me a river, I know! But they do try to make it feel like Christmas. There is a great shopping center called The Grove, its where they film Extra, they have a HUGE tree (30 feet taller then Rockefeller center in NYC) and they make make fake snow. Anyway, Carin and I went and checked it out and it was pretty cool and make it feel a little like Christmas!

I also made batches and batches of peppermint popcorn, which everyone loved and made me homesick!

Thanksgiving

My parents came to LA for Thanksgiving and we had a great time! I didn't take any pictures of Thanksgiving dinner but I did take some of the day before they left. We had been at Megan and Chris' house with kids but after church we drove back to LA and walked around the LA temple grounds. They try and decorate with Christmas lights, but having seen Temple Square in SLC it is hard to compete. We also spent some time at the visitor center and the church has recently redone the entire center. It is very cool and has lots of different information. It was really fun to have my parents come down and see where I live and go to school for the first time!

Caramel Apples

In November my ward had a service auction and I really wanted to donate something. Meg gave me the idea of Caramel Apples. I had never done this before but how hard could it be... right?

Well it took me all day! and I couldn't have done it without Carin's moral support.

The tool that made it all possible!
